FLEX Information
FLEX is a special block of time built into the school day that gives students and teachers flexibility to meet different needs. The goal of FLEX is to make the school day more personalized, offering both academic support and enrichment, while also creating time for students to explore interests and build community.
Some common uses of FLEX time include:

Academic support: Meeting with teachers for extra help, tutoring, or reteaching in subjects where more practice is needed.

Enrichment opportunities: Exploring special projects, extension lessons, or creative learning activities that go beyond the regular curriculum.

Independent work: Using the time to finish homework, work on long-term assignments, or study for upcoming tests.

Social-emotional support: Participating in advisory lessons, team-building activities, or check-ins that support students’ well-being.

Clubs and fun activities: Many schools also end the day with a variety of student clubs, interest groups, and fun activities during FLEX, giving students a chance to try new things, connect with peers, and enjoy school in a different way.
